Co-writer Tim Rice-Oxley revealed in 2004 of the meaning of the song: It’s about being able to draw strength from a place or experience you’ve shared with someone. I think it’s an idea a lot of people can relate to. “It’s so bizarre that ” Somewhere Only We Know" is a kind of phenomenon in itself, almost outside of the album. It had its first life when the album came out and then it was always cropping up in films and big syncs, but then Lily Allen did her version of it and it’s somehow become a Christmas song.

I got sick few weeks ago and during my recovery days I tried to sing this song. I guess emotionally I was attached to the song. I thought of a friend whom I know she missed her husband so much and its been a year when he left and joined our creator. I know my friend is a strong woman and doing her best to live her life with her beautiful daughters to the fullest. I really adore and admire her so much. So my friend.... this is for you...

"Words" is a song by F. R. David, released as a single in 1982 from his debut album "WORDS" . The lyrics itself tells all about what inside your heart that you want to express and say but its not easy to say. "Kaya madalas idinadaan sa kanta". (That's why we chose to dedicate a song)

I will be singing the version of Soraya, its more upbeat and close to what I want to express and what I want to tell to my family, few good friends and for those who loved me unconditionally, helped and walked with me in my life's journey.
