When my friend requested this song, it took me sometime to record it not because its a hard song to sing, but because of the lyrics itself. Perhaps I'm just being truthful to myself that maybe I was on the process of healing and in reality that we are all scarred by our past experiences in life and it really takes time.

Leaves by Ben & Ben is a heartwarming song that serves as a reminder that wounds heal if you give it time. "Learning to forgive," then, isn't just about forgiving those who've wronged you--it's also about forgiving yourself, and moving on.
